8:00am-5:00pm on Monday through Friday
8:00am-11:00am on Saturday

You are encouraged to call during office hours with any questions about your child's health. Many times illnesses can be cared for at home. You should be prepared to discuss your child's symptoms, temperature, and medications on hand when you call. Our office staff will usually take your message after consultation, either they or the doctor will return your call at the earliest possible time. If you have an emergency and cannot wait to have the call returned, please say so.

 If your child is sick, please call the office as early in the day as possible, so we can see your child promptly. It is our every intent to see every patient at their scheduled appointment time, and you can help by being prompt for your appointment. If you cannot keep an appointment, please call and cancel so that someone else may be scheduled at that time.

PRESCRIPTIONS

Prescriptions and medication renewal requests should be made during office hours. Antibiotics will not be prescribed without seeing the patient.

Our doctor has admitting privileges at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

BILLING, INSURANCE, & PAYMENT

We participate in most of the major health insurance plans and Tenncare plans. The contracts with the insurances are reviewed periodically and we may elect to add other plans. These plans will be billed directly for all services, but you will be required to pay the co-payment or deductible at the time of your visit.

If you are unsure of your coverage or the amount you will be expected to pay, we suggest you contact your insurance carrier before the office visit. Also, please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment for us to make photocopy. Newborn care and hospital charges will be filed with your insurance carrier. If your bill presents an excessive financial hardship, please contact our office manager so that we can make arrangements for a fair payment schedule.
