All About Tutor to Educate

Hello! My name is Eshani Mehta. I am a senior at Ravenwood High School and an advocate of everyONEhuman.

Many of us are choosing to do online learning this fall, and I recognize the challenges that online learning can bring. Thus, I have a tutoring initiative. Over this past summer, I have tutored 7 students from 1st-10th grade. Using this experience, I would like to continue tutoring this fall, including high school students with AP courses & ACT/SAT prep.

I am a hard-working student and have maintained a 4.7 GPA with all 5 of my AP courses and also scored a 36 superscore on the ACT.

I provide tutoring via Zoom for $35 an hour. My total earnings from the Tutor to Educate Program are donated to support http://everyonehuman.org/our-impact.html Educational and Vocational Scholarships Fund for survivors of sex trafficking in the U.S.

Please contact me at (917) 902-2671 if you can help me accomplish this mission.

I would also be happy to share references from satisfied clients.

Let's work together to contribute to this great cause!

My Mission

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented changes in our community. This situation has inspired me to give back to the community by empowering students to continue to learn and grow in the midst of COVID-19 induced social distancing and many schools closed indefinitely all over TN.

Thus my “Tutor to Educate” community service endeavor was born. I provide tutoring via Zoom for students until 11th grade, requesting a small donation per hour of tutoring to support my community service project with EveryOneHuman, a not for profit organization in Nashville with a mission to fight against extreme human exploitation.

In the United States, every two minutes a child is bought or sold for sex. I recently learned that sex trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery, and sadly it occurs in our very own backyard here in Nashville. Education and financial independence create a pathway to freedom, and I decided to take up the cause by donating my time and talent to the EOH Educational and Vocational Scholarships Fund.

Thus, I pledged that 100% of the funds raised will go towards EveryOneHuman Educational and Vocational Training Scholarships for survivors of sex trafficking in the United States, covering the cost of tuition, school supplies, and transportation for one EOH Survivor Scholar in the fall 2020 college semester. This initiative helps restore dignity and freedom to survivors of extreme human exploitation and gives them a second chance in life through education.
